John S. Matarese is a Certified Public Accountant who has been providing tax and accounting services since 1997. After spending 17 years with a local firm, John moved in another direction and founded Winchester Tax Associates, LLC. He provides tax planning, consulting services, and compliance for a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, complex real estate partnerships and closely held businesses. He has advised partnerships and corporations regarding compliance and their structuring and has also represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Massachusetts department of revenue. As the managing member, he is known for his diligence and determination to provide clients with exceptional professional services and demands nothing but the best from his staff.

Outside the office John spends as much time as possible with his wife Julie and their two children. He enjoys all the Boston sports pro teams and when he can enjoys playing golf. 

John received his BSBA in accounting at Northeastern University and his masters in taxation at Northeastern University. John is affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Tax committee of the MSCPA.
